August: The harvesting month

August is the month when our winery lives in its own rhythm. Our vineyards are bursting with life, the grapes are ripening and our team is preparing for the most important moment of the year: the harvest.

This year’s harvest began on the evening of Monday, August 11, in a typical timeframe for the Drama region. It took place as always in the evening hours and the kick-off was given by the elegant and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc!

Night harvest takes place when temperatures drop, preserving the freshness and aromas of the grapes. By harvesting at night, oxidation is avoided, ensuring a fresher, higher-quality wine. Plus, the magical atmosphere of the vineyards lit up at night makes this tradition a unique experience.
