Harvest Report 2025

A year of balance and aromatic expression
After a early and demanding year in 2024, the 2025 harvest brought a more normal pace, closer to the data of the Drama region.
The winter, although not severe, brought several snowfalls, filling the underground water reservoirs and preparing the soil for spring. The rains of the following season contributed to a stable level of humidity, significantly reducing the need for irrigation and allowing the vines to grow at a natural pace.
The ripening of the grapes progressed smoothly, and the harvest began on August 7, twelve days later than last year — a completely normal date for the Drama region. The harvest began with Sauvignon Blanc, while the completion of the harvest came on September 17th with Agiorgitiko.

Temperatures during the summer, and especially in the final stage of ripening, remained mild — they did not exceed 36°C — which favored the preservation of the aromatic intensity and natural acidity of the grapes. Yields per hectare were close to the average of the last decade, with a slight increase of 5–10% compared to 2024, especially in white grape varieties.
The white wines of 2025 show their potential early on: expressive, with lively aromas, complexity and good structure, they compose a profile with enhanced aging potential.
Correspondingly, red wines present ripe, well-crafted tannins, a result of prolonged aging, and a rich, fruity profile that combines freshness and finesse. These are wines that will be enjoyable from the beginning, but also capable of evolving beautifully with time.
The 2025 vintage was a year without extreme phenomena, with balance and flavor purity — all that make a promise for a vintage with distinctive character and the signature of our region.
